Equinox Council: Planting Seeds of Restoration & Healing

Please join us on Equinox Weekend as we welcome Arhuaco elder Calixto Suarez to the Bay Area from the Sierra Nevada mountains of Colombia!

This is an extraordinary opportunity to hold council with Calixto as he shares teachings and live transmissions about how to spiritually nourish and restore balance to our sacred lands, the Earth, and ourselves. These healing and transformative gatherings will draw upon the Autumnal Equinox energy as we collectively plant seeds of restoration and remembrance, balance and peace.

“In order to establish peace and equilibrium on the Earth, we must all recover, nourish and heal our holy places and ancestral lands”

Calixto is here representing his Arhuaco people, along with their sister tribes the Kogui, Wiwa and Kankuamo, on a vital mission to recover the holy lands of their ancestral territory in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Santa Marta, which are so important for mankind. Western occupation of the territory has forced the Arhuaco to relocate to the higher lands of the Sierras. This displacement has brought imbalance and disharmonies to their communities, the earth, and the planets. As the human family becomes increasingly disconnected from our ancestral lands, this state of planetary discord is worsening. It is because of this that Calixto is on a mission to help us reconnect to and spiritually nourish our ancestral lands and holy places. The people of the Sierra Nevada believe the health and future of our Mother Earth depends upon us ALL reclaiming our connection to our ancestral lands.
