Our ranch team is responsible for the day to day vitality of the animals and property. They start early, end late, and more often than not come home a bit muddy. Their dedication to their work, the health and quality of our animals, and preservation of the land drives their daily work. As a family farm, we feel it is important to celebrate and recognize our family and community that have made our dream come true. Tara Firma Farm's wouldn't be possible without the help of all of the individuals below:
Oona is in charge of the day to day operations of the farm and helps plan events. She enjoys making art, cooking, and tending to the gardens in her spare time, and has a beautiful two year old son (Future Farmer!)
Patrick has been a part of the Tara Firma Family for over three years. He provides a wealth of experience and knowledge on all facets of farm life and is certainly our go-to guy when faced with any problem. In his free time, Pat enjoys eating at Rays Deli in town, and playing the latest Xbox game.
Our office team is responsible for coordinating with the ranch and partner farms, providing customer service to our CSA members, and upholding the values of our CSA program with every decision and relationship. They work to make sure that our members are happy with their deliveries, are informed on where their food comes from, and are always looking for ways to improve!
Owner, Manager, and father, Kris has a lot on his plate here at the farm. After years in commercial construction, running a CSA has been a refreshing change of pace. Kris really cares about the quality of service we provide our CSA members. In his free time, Kris enjoys riding his bike, camping, and playing with his son.
Please help us give a warm welcome to the newest member of our customer service team, Brandon! Not only is he our model for the new Tara Firma Farms shirts, now on sale for $20, but he also brings his love of people and photography to the Tara Firma team and is excited to learn how to work with unusual cuts of meat in the kitchen. Ask him how he cooked beef tongue!
Elizabeth is here to promote and learn about sustainability. Her heart belongs to the animals and plants, and loves to make members and visitors feel part of the family here at TFF. She believes food is medicine, and looks forward to meals that can be both healthy and delicious. In her free time, she reads tarot professionally, plays with her cat, explores nature and laughs.
Jesse is in charge of making sure our customers get what they order! He works in the Pack House during the week, stocking our freezers, filling bags, and helping out when you come into the Farm Store. He's lived in the Bay Area for decades and in his spare time loves tinkering with cars, welding, and raising his beautiful daughter!
Jon comes in a couple days a week to help with our busier days of packing. He's got a great sense of humor and work ethic. He's an animal lover and in his spare time a metal fan and quality beer enthusiast.
